Hello traveler! In today's post, I'll share with you the itinerary I made for a recent 4 day trip to Paris, in October of 2021.
Before we start, here are some notes to have in mind:
- With the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the rules for entering monuments and museums might be constantly changing, please check them before your arrival!
- At least on October (2021) all entrances must be booked in advance, as well as the time slot, even for free tickets.
- At the entrance, it required to present either a health pass/vaccination certificate or a negative COVID-19 test, plus a mask was mandatory during the whole visit.
Day 1 - Arrival
Please note that, depending on the time of your arrival, you'll have more/less time to explore the city. If you're lucky to arrive early in the morning, you'll be able to include more attractions!
One thing to pay attention to is choosing the best airport to arrive in Paris. It's common to find good deals to Beauvais, especially because it's the airport where low-cost companies fly to, but it'll cost you double to reach the city - plus the time spent. If you only have one weekend, I'd recommend either ORY or CDG.
Also, our hotel was located in La Villette, if it weren’t for that, we probably wouldn’t have had the chance to explore that neighborhood.

Day 2 - Exploring

7. Eiffel Tower (visit the top)

We missed the last entrance for Palais Royal by 30 minutes because I completely forgot to check that. If we had paid attention to that, it would be possible to include Palais Royal on the itinerary for this day as well.

Hope you enjoy it and it helps you plan your trip. Let me know if there's anything you'd add or remove from the list!
