If you are in Porto (or another city in the north of Portugal), you can easily go for a day trip from Porto to Santiago de Compostela, in Spain. In this post, I will show you some pictures taken during this beautiful roadtrip.
Se estás no Porto (ou qualquer outra cidade do norte de Portugal), podes aproveitar para tirar um dia e visitar Santiago de Compostela, em Espanha. Nesta publicação vou mostrar-vos algumas fotos que tirei durante esta linda roadtrip.
If you're departing from Porto, it will take you around 2h30 to reach your destination. However, on your way, you'll see several beautiful landscapes. This roadtrip made me realize that I want to visit Vigo and Pontevedra.
Arriving at Santiago de Compostela, our first mission was to find a place to park the car. Every single one you'll find is paid, tho. So we decided to leave the car the nearest possible from the centre. Then, we walked a little.
We continued to the cathedral, took a few pictures and started to look for a place to have lunch. In Spain, if you want a cheap yet good place, you have 100 montaditos. They serve small sandwiches that cost around 1€ (and each one comes with some french fries). I ordered 2 sandwiches and a portion of fries with cheese and bacon to share (it's a big portion).
Continuamos até chegar à catedral, tiramos algumas fotos e começamos a procurar por um local onde almoçar. Em Espanha, se procuras um sÃtio barato porém bom, tens os 100 montaditos. Servem pequenas sanduiches que custam à volta de 1€ cada (e vêm acompanhnadas com batatas fritas). Eu pedi duas sanduiches e uma dose de batatas com queijo e bacon para dividir (vêm bastantes batatas).

On our way back to Portugal, we made a quick stop at Isla de Arousa. We only had time for a quick drive around, but it was enough to see how beautiful it also is.
No regresso a Portugal fizemos uma paragem rápida na Isla de Arousa. Deu apenas tempo para uma volta rápida de carro, mas foi o suficiente para ver o quão linda é.
